Research proposal abstract
In this retrospective cohort study, we want to evaluate data of the Dutch Arthroplasty
register ( of total hip arthroplasty ( This study primarily aims to compare long term implant survival rates when comparing different femoral head sizes in combination with highly crosslinked polyethylene liners. All hips of patients in the Dutch Arthroplasty Register ( with a minimum age of 18 will be included that underwent primary THA with a HXLPE liner. The enrolment period will be 2007 202 4 with a follow up until 202 5 To adjust for potential confounders, all cause revision surgery rates will be compared using cox proportional hazards analysis.
