Research proposal abstract:
The objectives of this study are to evaluate and describe short-term patient-reported
outcomes (PROMs), all-cause revision rates and reasons for revision for conventional
versus robotic-assisted primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA) across distinct body massindex
(BMI) categories: healthy weight (BMI 20.0 โ 25.0), overweight (BMI 25.0 โ 30.0),
obese (BMI 30.0 โ 35.0) and morbid obesity (BMI >35.0). Additionally, PROMs will be
compared between conventional and robotic-assisted TKA across the various BMI
categories.
